Shivratri Celebration
The Maha Shivratri Festival is organized by Shri Mahakaleshwar Charitable Trust and is celebrated with great enthusiasm.
The festival commenced on March 8, 2024. The religious event was initiated by Rohit Shrirang Chawale Sir, the president of the Mahakaleshwar Trust.
On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, a grand idol installation and puja take place at Rajiv Gandhi Chowk, Ausa Road, Latur. The celebrations include Mahaprasad distribution, fruit offerings, and food donation throughout the day. A blood donation camp is also organized for the noble cause.

- Majestic Dhol-Tasha Pathak (traditional drum group)
- Damru Pathak (Damru drummers)
- Bhajani Mandal (devotional singing group)
- School students’ performances
- A magnificent Lord Shiva idol display
- Haalgi Pathak (traditional percussion group)
- Shiv-era martial arts demonstrations
The 4-kilometer-long procession starts from Rajiv Gandhi Chowk and proceeds to Talav Mahadev Mandir, Khore Galli.
Thousands of Shiva devotees participate in this traditional Maha Shivratri celebration.
